This was a good day, a very good day, in April of 2005, when a bunch of us went for a ride in Puerto Plata, to see the sites and look at property. My cup of tea, and when we got stuck and had to walk, I was never happier, because it was so very Maine yet nowhere close. It just felt right.

I am pleased to announce that these Dominican friends are coming to Maine to see me. Tickets purchased, two weeks in Maine and they arrive in a matter of weeks.

It's an incredible turn of events, and my heart feels full and happy to have friends like this, who will come and see me and see my place of being, my very breath among these woods and waters. People who understand me in both cultures are very special, indeed.
